I spend so much time in my car, and have a similar bag usually filled with books to read and yarn to knit with in the cooler months! I love that you gave it a name. And you also made me think I should have paid attention to the movie when my kids watched it 😂😂
This is awesome, Laura! I used to just read in carpool and never considered how else I could be spending that time- the carpool creativity bag is genius! I will be making one for myself! Thanks for sharing, friend!!
My son is a big Dog Man fan and we watched the movie too—I loved the very end and how Petey chose to see the world with a bit more wonder and beauty in the end.
Okay now I really want to watch the Dog-Man movie! That’s an amazing image to keep with you, and I love how it’s inspiring your car pickup creativity.
I was pleasantly surprised by the movie—I went in expecting to just endure it, and there were actually several really sweet and funny moments!

Solidarity on all the time in the car!! One day I want to learn to knit—it seems like it would be great for an on the go project!
Your carpool creativity bag is the coolest. I've loved hearing about how life-giving this time is for you, and I love seeing your beautiful creations!
Thanks, Laura!
Here for all of this!! I also deeply resonate with your line wondering if you’re stressing too much or are others not worried enough?
I usually have 15-20 in the car line! And reading is my go to but I love this so much!!
Thanks, Kim! It’s a wild time to be a person, right now, isn’t it?
