I loved your what worked and what didn’t list! I also love Chatbooks and think that counts toward photo organization, so you’re ahead of the curve in my book 🤣 Looking forward to another cohort with you in 2025!
Do you include tv as screen time during the week? That’s all we do but I wonder about cutting that out. Except I use it for when I’m cooking dinner so I can have some quiet.
We cut out TV too… it was easier to say none and have no exceptions than to open the door even a tiny bit. I do sometimes miss having the option to have them watch while I cook or whatever, but it’s really changed the game for us to not even have it as an option. I will sometimes set out an activity like art or legos and turn on an audiobook if I want to be able to cook in peace and that works most of the time!
We also started doing no screen time (including tv) on Monday through Thursday. I 100% agree that it is a game changer. It was hard for me at first because I was used to relying on screens during that 5-7 pm timeframe. But the kids spend more time playing together and creating things now that they know the routine.
Yes! It is AMAZING how just totally taking away the option of screens during the week has changed the dynamic and increased the creativity in our home! Glad to hear it’s been a win in your house too!!
I loved this whole recap! Very interested to chat more about the apple watch! I’ve resisted, because I have worried having something like that on my wrist would make it harder for me to set boundaries with my phone, but your perspective is intriguing!
🎉 love these pictures and reflections! I hope 2025 holds another meet-up for us. ❤️
Yes, I’m very much hoping 2025 includes some in-person time for us! 💕

Thanks, Kelsey! Excited to have you in another cohort this spring!
I’m here for all the reflections too! Loved reading yours.

Audiobooks for the kids have literally saved me as we now experience peace on our drives or in wild moments in the house! So wonderful!!
