Oregon trail lawd that was my favorite game, many moons ago. I miss those simple days. Whenever I am at a place that has coke in a glass bottle I absolutely grab one.

Love this! I smiled at the Coke in glass bottles because that’s something my husband and I talked about liking in one of our earliest conversations. 🥰

Love that! There’s something so special about those glass bottles—and coke tastes better when it’s in them!!

Loved this, Laura! My dad is from coastal NC and I love a vinegar-y bbq! And shrimp burgers--not sure if that's an Eastern NC thing, though. Also, I can’t believe I left “I Love Lucy” off my own list. And 100% relate to “a desperate need to make something, anything, and document that yes, I was here”

Oh yes, I love a good shrimp burger… especially from the hole in the wall type places down at the beach! I showed my youngest some I Love Lucy clips when I was working on this, and I was thrilled that he loved them too!

Yes! Did I find the scripts for Kirsten’s American Girl play at the thrift store yesterday for $1 and buy them for pure nostalgia because I have no need for them? Also yes!

Okay this is such a fun prompt and I love all these insights to your code. Plus not me immediately singing Tim McGraw and wanting a sweet tea. And you’re not alone in checking out way too many library books at once haha.

Thanks, Jessica! The library book problem is real… I currently have 30 checked out!! 🤦‍♀️

30 for you? or for you and your kids? !!!

Just me 🤦‍♀️ there are cookbooks, watercolor books, other stuff like that mixed in… and I had a lot of holds all come in at once (of course!)

How did you like the TN BBQ compared to the NC BBQ?

Laura Bass's avatar

I can tolerate it 🤣 I clearly remember the first time I had non-Eastern NC bbq as a kid and (despite having been warned it was not the same), being SO disappointed. Vinegar-based forever!
